UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

TWO YEARS AGO THE RCMP REPORTED THEY HAD
5.1 MILLION “UNVERIFIED” GUNS IN THE REGISTRY
NOW THIS INFORMATION IS “NOT AVAILABLE”?

For the period from January 1, 2004 to present, please provide copies of reports, documents, and correspondence showing:
(1) The number of firearms in the registry that still have to be verified;
(2) The number that have been verified by personal examination by a firearms expert;
(3) The number that have been verified by telephone; and
(4) the results of questionnaires and surveys (such as CAFC Form 1087E – 2005/09/06) conducted with firearms owners that have had their firearms verified.

(2) For the period of Jan. 1, 2004 to Oct. 11, 2005, 410,000 firearms have been verified in person.
(3) For the period of Jan. 1, 2004 to Oct. 11, 2005, 60,042 firearms have been verified by telephone.

BUT???? ON SEPTEMBER 9, 2003: THE RCMP REPORTED 5.1 MILLION GUNS IN REGISTRY THAT STILL HAD TO BE “VERIFIED”.

WHY IS THIS INFORMATION NO LONGER AVAILABLE FROM THE CANADA FIREARMS CENTRE?

AND BY THE WAY, HOW CAN ANYONE "VERIFY" ONE FIREARM OVER THE PHONE - LET ALONE 60,042 OF THEM?
