A thumbs- down to the federal firearms registry, which continues to fire blanks
while racking up millions more dollars in massive cost overruns.
Solicitor
General Wayne Easter admitted this week that recent computer crashes may have
deleted some gun owners' names from the registry. Earlier this week, Ontario and
Nova Scotia joined Alberta, Saskat-chewan and Manitoba in refusing to prosecute
gun owners who break the law by failing to register their weapons.
Maybe,
it's time to muzzle the entire project.
