FIREARMS
FACTS - UPDATE
ANNE
McLELLAN SAYS FIREARMS LICENCING
COSTS
MORE THAN FIREARMS REGISTRATION
SO
DOES BOTCHING TWO PROGRAMS INSTEAD OF ONE JUSTIFY WASTING A BILLION DOLLARS?
Public
Safety Minister Anne
McLellan:
I think that we absolutely need to review the gun control program. The
registry is one part of it, and takes up fewer of the operating dollars than
does the licensing part of the program.
