PART (C) OF REQUEST: A BREAKDOWN OF THE COST TO ESTABLISH, RECRUIT, TRAIN, AND MAINTAIN THE VERIFIER NETWORK

RCMP Response: For the period October 1998 to the date of request (August 11, 2000)

•         Salaries of the Provincial, Regional and Zone Coordinators across Canada is $2,068,482.00

•         Salaries of the Ottawa Office Staff is: $318,124.00

•         Coordinator’s Expenses: $600,000.00

•         Supplies for Verifiers: $112,000.00

•         Total: $3,098,586.00

PART (D) OF REQUEST: THE NAMES AND ADDRESSES OF THE CLUBS AND ASSOCIATIONS THAT HAVE RECEIVED VERIFYING HONORARIA AND THE AMOUNTS OF THESE INCENTIVES RECEIVED BY EACH CLUB AND ASSOCIATION

RCMP Response: One gun club, Le club de tir GSS (Groupe de support et de soutien) Montreal, has received an honorarium to $100.00 for completing 300 firearm verifications.
