Their Firearms Confiscation Compensation Scheme is simply a national gun ban in disguise. The list includes hunting rifles, shotguns, and even .22 caliber plinkers, firearms used by farmers, sport shooters, and hunters across this country for generations.
As we saw on April 4, 2025, the Canadian-made Crusader Arms Crypto, a rifle specifically designed to meet post-Bill C-21 requirements and regulations, was arbitrarily banned by the RCMP.
No discussion. No collaboration. No common sense. No recourse.
“This is yet another example of the RCMP and anti-gun activists moving the goalposts,” says Tony Bernardo. “The Crypto rifle was designed specifically to meet the requirements of Bill C-21, and now, without warning or justification, it’s been prohibited. This kind of arbitrary decision-making undermines the credibility of the firearms classification system and creates undue hardship for law-abiding gun owners and firearms manufacturers.”
Carney’s Liberals Are Soft on Crime—But Hard on You
