The Canadian Shooting Sports Association team wrapped up an incredibly successful four-day run at this year’s Toronto Sportsmen’s Show, where we connected with hundreds of passionate firearms owners and enthusiasts. The turnout exceeded our expectations, with a steady stream of visitors keeping our booth busy throughout the entire event.
We were deeply grateful to see so many familiar faces as existing members stopped by to renew their memberships. Even more encouraging was the number of new members who joined our ranks, recognizing the importance of standing together during these challenging times for Canadian firearms owners.
The conversations at our booth largely centred around the recent firearms prohibitions and their impact on law-abiding citizens. Many attendees expressed their concerns about the current government’s approach to firearms legislation and shared their perspectives on the upcoming federal election – an event that could prove pivotal for the future of firearms ownership in Canada.
Our team spent considerable time addressing questions about recent regulatory changes and discussing how CSSA continues to advocate for evidence-based firearms policies that respect the rights of responsible owners. The level of engagement from show attendees demonstrated that Canadian firearms owners remain highly informed and deeply committed to protecting their heritage and rights.
To all who visited – whether you’re a long-time member or just joined our community – thank you for your support. Your membership and engagement enable us to continue our vital work representing Canada’s firearms community. The enthusiasm and solidarity shown at the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show remind us that we’re stronger together. The CSSA remains dedicated to defending the interests of Canadian firearms owners through education, advocacy, and community engagement.
