Mark Carney might know his way around a balance sheet, but he doesn’t know the first rule of poker – never show your cards until you must.
The former banker tipped his hand and proved he’s going all-in on Trudeau’s failed gun confiscation scheme.
Nathalie Provost spent the last 30 years pushing for stricter and stricter gun control.
She quit Justin Trudeau’s firearms advisory committee because Trudeau wasn’t banning guns fast enough for her liking.
Nathalie Provost will now run for Mark Carney’s Liberals in the next federal election.
Mark Carney is stacking his deck with the most radical anti-gun voices he can find.
It’s like he’s dealing from the bottom of the deck, thinking Canadian gun owners won’t notice the marked cards.
Mark Carney’s anti-gun strategy – like everything else in his arsenal – is another rehashed Trudeau failure.
Unlike Trudeau, Mark Carney isn’t even attempting to pretend he’s playing a fair game.
But here’s the thing about seasoned poker players – we know how to spot a rigged game.
First, he’ll ante up with more “reasonable restrictions.”
Next, he’ll raise the stakes with more gun bans on licensed gun owners (but like Trudeau, he won’t lift a finger to stop gun smuggling, gangs or criminal violence.)
Then, when Carney thinks he’s got us cornered, he’ll go all-in on total civilian disarmament.
That’s been the Liberal endgame all along, and bringing Provost to the table confirms it.
Carney might think he’s clever, playing this hand in Quebec where he hopes it will play well with his base.
But he’s forgotten one crucial detail – millions of federally licensed gun owners across Canada are watching this game unfold.
We’re not about to fold just because he showed his hand.
Not this time, not ever.
We’ve watched as the Liberals tried to bluff their way through one gun grab after another, always claiming it’s “just this one restriction” or “just these types of firearms.”
But now, with Provost potentially holding a seat at the cabinet table, the deck is clearly stacked against gun owners.
Carney and his anti-gun coalition are betting big that Canadian gun owners will fold their cards and walk away from the table.
It’s time to call Carney’s bluff.
Every gun owner in Canada needs to understand what’s at stake here.
This isn’t a friendly game of cards – this is our property, our heritage, and our way of life that’s on the table.
The CSSA is raising the stakes.
The only way to beat a stacked deck is to have more players watching the dealer.
We’re calling every gun owner in Canada to join us at the table.
Carney showed his cards, and now it’s our turn.
The question is: are you in or out?
Stay strong. Stay vigilant. And whatever you do, don’t fold.
This is the Canadian Shooting Sports Association, and we’re all-in for our community.

If licensed gun owners don’t all stand up to stop this and let their voices be heard and Canadians don’t back them up, don’t be too surprised when they come for your classic cars and internal combustion engines of all kinds in the near future (or ban them all, so you can still have them in your garage but never legally use them again) …
