Club Level Safety Instructor Course

Become a certified safety instructor for clubs.

Course Overview

This course prepares candidates to begin training other club members under the supervision of the Club Safety Officer. 

The CLSI course trains and certifies new Club Level Instructors on how to instruct and deliver CSSA club level safety course material.

Key Learning Points

– Review of ACTS/PROVE method used in the Canadian Firearms Safety Course/Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course.
– Introduction to safe handgun shooting fundamentals.

Course Format

– Practical, hands-on with a written test. 
– Approximately 8 hours long, including breaks.

Additional Notes

– No live fire involved.
– This credential does not grant you access to a club/range, and a club/range is not obligated to make use of your credential.
